The stretch of coast between the Abruzzo town of Francavilla a Mare e Vasto and is named for the simple fact that there is a large concentration of Trabocchi, machines built in the nineteenth century for fishing from the mainland and which today are often used as restaurants, centers for the preservation of the environment or simply as points of observation of flora and fauna in the area.
